Runplotter

Terms of Use

Effective

Draft — to be finalized after business registration and review. The Korean version prevails if the two differ.

1. Scope

These terms govern the use of the Windows program Runplotter (the “Program”) and the license service (the “Service”) provided by (“we”).

2. Free and paid editions

  1. The free edition shows ads and may be used only for non-work purposes such as hobbies, personal study and a student's own coursework.
  2. The paid edition (the Program with a paid key entered) shows no ads and may be used for work at companies, public bodies, university labs and similar, for client work and for anything that earns money.
  3. Work use at any organization requires a paid key, whether the organization is for-profit or not.
  4. Until we start selling paid plans, the free edition may also be used for work. We will announce the start on this site and in the Program; the limits in items 1 and 3 apply from 30 days after that announcement.

3. License

  1. We grant you a right to use the Program under these terms. We keep all copyright and other rights; you obtain a right of use, not ownership.
  2. Paid licenses are per person. One person may register up to 2 PCs; a license may not be shared between people. A key bought for several people covers 2 PCs per person.
  3. You may not share or resell keys, bypass or block license checks or ads, reverse-engineer, decompile or redistribute modified copies (except as the law allows), or remove copyright notices.

4. License checks and internet connection

  1. While running, the Program checks the license with our server from time to time, so both editions need an internet connection.
  2. After a disconnection the Program keeps working for a limited time (longer for the paid edition); then it saves its settings and closes. Refunds and deactivations reach a disconnected PC when it reconnects.
  3. What is sent is described in the Privacy Policy. Your log and data files are never sent.

5. Changing PCs

  1. You can release a registered PC yourself, or move the seat of a PC that cannot be started to a new PC, in the Program's License window.
  2. Self-service releases and moves are limited to 3 in any 12 months; beyond that, contact us. We will release a seat for good reasons such as hardware failure.
  3. One seat runs one copy at a time. If a copy starts elsewhere with the same PC ID, the earlier one falls back to the free edition.

6. Subscriptions and cancellation

  1. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and interval until you cancel. The price and interval are shown at checkout and on the receipt.
  2. You may cancel at any time via the “Manage subscription” link in your receipt or the subscription page we provide. Billing stops and the paid edition keeps working until the paid period ends.
  3. We will give notice and ask for your consent before raising a subscription price. If you do not consent, the subscription ends with the paid period.
  4. To allow for late payment processing, the paid edition keeps working for 3 days after a subscription ends.

7. Refunds

See the Refund Policy.

8. Reseller

Card orders are processed by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Ltd, which is the Merchant of Record; Paddle's buyer terms also apply to those orders. Organizations buying by quote contract with us directly.

9. Changes to or end of the Service

  1. License checks may pause briefly for maintenance or outages; we will announce them in advance where possible.
  2. If we end the Service, we will give at least 90 days' notice and either refund the remaining paid period or provide a way to use the Program without an internet connection.

10. Warranty and liability

  1. The Program reads, displays and exports your data. You are responsible for checking results against the original data before relying on them.
  2. Except for intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for indirect damages or data loss arising from use of or inability to use the Program. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, unless the law provides otherwise.

11. Changes to these terms

We will post changes on this page 7 days before they take effect (30 days if they are unfavourable to you).

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence still apply.
