License questions
Do I need a license for work?
Yes. The free edition is for personal, non-work use. Work at companies, public bodies or university labs, or freelance and self-employed work needs a paid plan — for-profit or not. Until paid plans open, you may use the free edition for work too.
Is there a lifetime license?
Plans are monthly or yearly for now. Organizations that can only buy perpetual licenses can request a quote.
How many PCs?
2 PCs per person (e.g. work PC and laptop). One copy runs at a time per PC, and a license may not be shared between people.
Changing PCs?
Release it on the old PC, or if the old PC cannot start, use “Move to this PC” on the new one — 3 times in any 12 months by yourself. Replacing parts does not count.
Updates?
Both free and paid editions get every new version. The program tells you when one is available.
Payment methods?
Cards (and PayPal etc. depending on country) through Paddle. Organizations can pay by bank transfer against an invoice.
How do I cancel?
One click in “Manage subscription” in your receipt e-mail. Billing stops and you keep the paid edition until the paid period ends.
Refunds?
Within 7 days of purchase if the key has not been entered, or any time the program does not work as described. Refund policy
